Technology Advisory Associate
ASIGMA is seeking a Technology Advisory Associate with at least four years of professional experience, preferably in a consulting environment. The successful candidate will play a dual role in leading bid preparation efforts (EOIs, proposals, capability statements) and delivering on ICT-focused assignments including digital assessments, systems design, and implementation support. This is a dynamic, client-facing role suited for professionals with strong writing, analytical, and technical capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the preparation of outstanding EOIs, technical proposals, and related bid documents, working closely with senior advisors and technical teams.
- Curate methodologies using logical thinking, critical diagnostics, and deep contextual understanding.
- Draft approaches that directly address problem statements and offer feasible and innovative solutions.
- Analyze Terms of Reference and proactively develop compelling response strategies for new opportunities.
- Support the design of enterprise systems including MIS, ERPs, data portals, and digital registries for public and private sector clients.
- Participate in digital maturity assessments, ICT infrastructure reviews, and process mapping exercises.
- Draft clear and structured technical documentation including assessment reports, solution blueprints, and system specifications.
- Engage in client consultations, validation sessions, and collaborative design workshops.
- Conduct applied research on digital transformation trends, tools, and standards to inform project delivery.
- Undertake implementation and rollout activities such as user training, system testing, and documentation finalization.
- Participate in designing, testing, and implementing technology systems that align with client needs and objectives.
- Undertake the integration and customization of software solutions, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and workflows.
- Track project milestones and deliverables, preparing detailed progress updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support business development efforts by researching potential opportunities, client profiles, and industry needs.
Qualifications and Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years in a consulting firm or advisory-focused role.
- Proven experience in preparing high-quality EOIs, proposals, and technical responses for ICT/digital projects.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems, systems analysis, digital platforms, and ICT policy frameworks.
- Excellent writing, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in productivity and documentation tools (e.g., MS Office, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
- Professional ICT certifications (e.g., Azure, AWS, ITIL, TOGAF, PMP, or similar) are desirable
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity, and software development principles.
- Well experienced with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and productivity tools.
- Advanced understanding of system integration and implementation processes.
- Knowledge of IT risk assessment, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity best practices.
